The European Researchers’ Night will return to Kokkola after a break of some years.
In addition to the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius, the Kokkola City Library will showcase Centria’s research and development, the Federation of Education in Central Ostrobothnia (KPEDU), the Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE) and the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK).
The event will be held on 28 September from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Audience can get familiar with science by doing and experiencing. The programme includes, among others, robotics, face recognition, games based on acceleration sensors, an escape room, identification of wild plants, a stone clinic, health measurements, environmental measurements (e.g. noise, number of visitors), adventures and travelling using the Genius Loci service, public lectures, etc.
